Star Logistics, a Covenant Logistics Group company, has been recognized as Tractor Supply's 2025 Supply Chain Partner of the Year — a distinction earned through standout performance during some of 2024's most severe weather events.
The recognition appears in Tractor Supply's annual economic report under the company's Supply Chain Readiness for Disaster Response section, which outlines how the retailer prepares its network to serve rural communities before and after natural disasters. Star is recognized for delivering the dependable transportation and real-time coordination that Tractor Supply's emergency response depends on.
During hurricanes Helene and Milton, Star transported crucial truckloads of emergency shipments, maintaining 24/7 coverage and providing hourly status updates throughout. Rather than waiting for storms to make landfall, Star pre-deployed trucks along the edges of developing storm systems, enabling rapid, targeted delivery of generators and critical supplies to communities that needed them most.
As conditions on the ground shifted, Star's teams worked in close coordination with Tractor Supply to navigate road closures, curfews and last-minute route changes, keeping emergency supply chains moving when timing was everything.
“Being there when communities need us most is the standard we hold ourselves to every day. This recognition from Tractor Supply reflects the dedication of our entire team.” – Stephen Grace, SVP Star Logistics Solutions.
The award reflects the trust Tractor Supply places in Star as a long-term logistics partner, and the standard of performance Star brings when communities are counting on it most. But recognition like this is only possible because of the drivers, customer service, and operations teams who showed up and did the work when it mattered. We are grateful for the partnership with Tractor Supply and proud of the role we played in getting essential supplies to the people who needed them.
