Chattanooga, TN [October 30, 2025] — Covenant Logistics Group, Inc., has been named a 2025 Top Company for Women to Work in Transportation by Redefining the Road, the official magazine of the Women In Trucking Association (WIT). The recognition highlights Covenant’s ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive culture that empowers and advances women across all areas of its business.

Each year, WIT honors companies that actively promote gender diversity and inclusion in the transportation industry. Award recipients are selected based on key criteria including corporate culture, competitive compensation and benefits, flexible work options, and professional development opportunities. Covenant ranked highly across these categories, and the recognition was validated by an industry-wide vote involving more than 21,000 transportation professionals.

“This recognition is a testament to the people who make Covenant an incredible place to work,” said Joey Ballard, Chief People and Safety Officer at Covenant Logistics. “We’re proud to foster an environment where women can build meaningful careers, lead with purpose, and shape the future of our industry.”

Covenant will be featured in the forthcoming Edition 3 issue of Redefining the Road, which reaches more than 15,000 readers, including WIT members, industry leaders, and professional drivers. The company will also be recognized during the 2025 Accelerate! Conference & Expo in Dallas, Texas.

Covenant continues to invest meaningfully in women’s professional development and

community through Women of Covenant, an internal employee resource group dedicated to cultivating connection, leadership growth, and career advancement at every stage.

Most recently, Women of Covenant hosted its 4th Annual Conference in Chattanooga on October 27–29, bringing together women from across the enterprise for three days of development, mentorship, and inspiration. The 2025 conference featured Shelly Prevost—entrepreneur, organizational psychologist, and advocate for women in leadership—as keynote speaker.

As part of the conference, Women of Covenant celebrated the 2025 Woman of the Year Awards, honoring exceptional female professionals across three categories: Professional Driver, Warehouse, and In-House.

Each category recognized three finalists, with one winner named in each group. The 2025 Women of the Year Award winners were:

• Laurel Allred – Professional Driver

• Ankita Bopchi – Warehouse

• Leigh Anne Booth – In-House

These honorees were selected for their outstanding accomplishments, leadership, and embodiment of Covenant’s purpose-driven culture. Their contributions reflect the diverse strengths and critical roles women hold throughout the organization.

This annual gathering has become a cornerstone of Covenant’s culture, reinforcing the organization’s belief in purposeful community, shared learning, and building pathways for women to thrive in transportation and logistics.
