Ecovadis score rating recognizes Covenant’s commitment to high environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards and makes the company more competitive in the industry

Covenant is proud to announce that it has been recognized for its commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards with a Bronze Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis, the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. The coveted rating recognizes Covenant’s commitment and ongoing efforts to:

• Minimize the company's environmental impact while upholding business integrity;
• Promote the professional and personal growth of its employees;
• Bring awareness to their ongoing diversity and inclusion goals and efforts.

The EcoVadis rating is a globally recognized approach, with ratings based on a company's environmental impact including carbon emissions, human rights and labor practices, ethical business conduct, and approach to sustainable procurement. EcoVadis assesses various industries, locations, and company sizes, which helps to contribute to business sustainability on a global scale. To date, EcoVadis has provided ratings on more than 90,000 companies.

The EcoVadis overall score reflects the quality of the company's sustainability management system at the time of the assessment. This year, Covenant scored a 48, putting them within the top 50% of all EcoVadis scores. This award-winning score demonstrates Covenant’s continued commitment to sustainability and ethics, and places them in the top 22% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the Freight transport by road industry. “Covenant’s people are its No. 1 asset, and we are proud to continually invest in their growth and wellbeing. EcoVadis communicates annual sustainability ratings to end users, which includes customers across industries of consumer goods, industrial manufacturers, retailers, food and beverage, healthcare, and others. It gives these users actionable insights into their environmental, social, and ethical risks when partnering with a service provider. For Covenant, this ranking is highly valuable when bidding on large transportation contracts with top-tier customers that value sustainable operations.
